Braised Egg and Pork

Eggs

  1. Put at room temperature for 15 minutes
  2. add cold water to eggs, boil, let boil for 5-7 minutes
  3. let soak for 15 minutes, change water to cold water till cool enough to peel
  4. peel eggs
  5. cover in soy sauce
  6. marinate 1 hour

pork and eggs

  1. cook ground pork or chicken, drain oil
  2. add fried scallions, onions, bit of brown sugar and some star anise
  3. add soy sauce from eggs, garlic and eggs
  4. add water to completely cover dish
  5. boil a few minutes
