2018-11-25 Brussel Sprouts

  • 1 slice bacon diced
  • Bucket o’ sprouts sliced
  • 1 pear or golden delicious apple cored and sliced
  • 4-5 cloves garlic peeled and sliced
  • Pine nuts
  • Hot pepper
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil (amount for tapas)
  • You can add baby spinach

Fry bacon. Add pear or apple and fry. Add sliced sprouts and olive oil. Stir fry hot and ideally the sprouts should brown some Add pinenuts if using, garlic and hot pepper and stir fry. Salt and pepper. Serve with pao de queijo (brazilian cheese bread - chebe brand is the mix we used) or french bread for dipping.
