Pete's Pasta

  • 3 Tb olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • pine nuts
  • 1 tsp crushed red chlies
  • 1 sweet red pepper, grilled, skinned, chopped (can use the ones in a jar)
  • 4 oz. sundried tomatoes in oil, drain, chop
  • 1 Tb fresh basil, chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, crumbled (I dice first, fry, drain)
  • ΒΌ cup sliced black olives (use kalamata)
  • 12-16 ounces pasta
  • Grated parmesan
  1. Fry garlic and dried chilies in oil over LOW heat until garlic is lightly browned 5-8 minutes. Add pine nuts and fry briefly.
  2. Add the rest of the sauce ingredients. Cook Pasta. Toss with sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan.
