- 3 cups well mashed sweet potatoes fresh or canned
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp double strength vanilla extract
- 2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 6 oz golden raisins

- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
preheat oven to 375. Grease casserole dish. In a large bowl combine sweet potatoes, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, melted butter. Mix. Fold in raisins. Spoon into casserole dish.
For they topping, in a separate bowl. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and blend well. The mixture will be crumbly stir in melted butter, fold in walnuts, crumble evenly over sweet potatoes bake at 375 for 30 minutes
